Project Description

The project will support the construction of the Mississippi Aquarium, which will promote tourism in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region by providing visitors with interactive science, education, interpretive and research opportunities for exploring marine habitats and fisheries in the Gulf ecosystem. The purpose of this project is to create an attraction that will result in a more extensive visitor experience in understanding the benefits of a healthy ecosystem and provide additional tourism opportunities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
